Successor companies

13. Rothschild control of raw materials

THAT the Rothschilds controlled Mercury is a fact which cannot be denied in the face of the statement to that effect in the Jewish Encyclopædia (B., Vol. V., p. 384).

Nathan Rothschild sent Lionel to Madrid and the latter obtained the lease of the Almaden mines in Spain in 1832, and received the Order of Isabella the Catholic from the Queen Regent of that country! This mining concession was obtained by the House of Rothschild in consideration of a loan of 15 million francs to the Spanish Government at a low rate of interest. In a few years, the income from these mines was anything between 1¼ million to 2 million francs. Thus the Quicksilver monopoly was established, the Vienna House having previously purchased the Austrian mines of Idria. The Rothschilds doubled the price of mercury, and their monopoly lasted until 1863 by which time Mercury was discovered in the United States of America.

In the years 1835 to 1837, the Rothschilds were in a somewhat desperate position because of these quicksilver interests in Spain. Don Carlos was fighting to gain the throne from the Queen Regent and was threatening the safety of the Almaden mines. The Rothschilds, whose agent in Madrid, the Jew Mendizabal was the Queen Regent’s Finance Minister, supported the Queen Regent, but were hampered by the facts that they had little faith in Spain’s credit and that their Austrian patron, the Chancellor Metternich, strongly favoured the cause of Don Carlos. The Rothschilds therefore actually “made great efforts to secure the armed intervention of England and France” and were successful in that the French lent the Queen Regent the services of the Foreign Legion, whilst Britain raised a volunteer force which was financed by Nathan Rothschild. (A, Vol. II., p. 124). As in 1940, the French and British were sent to fight the Jews’ battles. At last, to please Metternich, the Rothschilds pretended that the Spanish Government had been guilty of bad faith, and they “beared” the Spanish funds in Paris and London bringing them down from 70 to 37. In spite of all this, Don Carlos’s inadequacy led to his defeat in the field, and the Rothschild mines were safe again.

NICKEL

The principal supplies of Nickel, used for hardening purposes in steel manufacture, and for which there is no known substitute, were in Canada, New Caledonia and Norway. The Canadian supplies are controlled by the Jew Lord Melchett, and the New Caledonian mines by the Paris Rothschilds.

What this means exactly is exemplified by a curious occurrence in the Great War 1914-18. Nickel had been declared contraband by the British who cut off Germany’s supplies from Canada. However, on 1st October, 1914, a Norwegian steamer loaded with 2,500 tons of the metal from New Caledonia and consigned to Krupp in Germany was stopped by the French Navy and taken to Brest as a prize of war. Immediately an order came from Paris to release the ship, which was then allowed to proceed to Hamburg! The French did not declare nickel to be contraband until May, 1915, by which time Germany had made sure of her supplies, supplementing them by bringing over from America a further 400 tons in the submarine Deutschland; this nickel must have been purchased in the United States from New Caledonia by arrangement (Z, pp. 166-7).

Who made the arrangement?

Who ordered the Norwegian steamer at Brest to be released?

One guess will suffice as an answer to both questions.

The French Rothschild Company was called Le Nickel, and had on its Board of Directors two Germans closely associated with Krupp and with the Metallgesellschaft of Frankfort, of which the Kaiser was a large shareholder.

That is what Rothschild control signified.

Since then, Finland promises to be the future chief source of Nickel, and the potentialities of the new mines in the arctic region of Petsamo in that country are enormous. These mines are owned by the Jew Lord Melchett’s International Nickel Co. of Canada. Their existence will no doubt influence the amount of actual help to Finland which will be rendered by Britain against the Soviets’ cowardly attack, but the intelligent reader will not allow himself to lose sympathy with the gallant Finns on that account.

COPPER

From the beginning of this century, the Rothschilds have had an important share in the Rio Tinto Mines in southern Spain, and the Trust Deed (dated 1931) for the Company’s Debentures is in favour of L. N. & A. G. Rothschild. These mines also produce Sulphur; Rear-Admiral Consett in his Triumph of Unarmed Forces (1923), p. 228, shows how the Rio Tinto Company during the World War 1914-18 sent to Denmark enormous amounts of pyrites containing sulphur for the purpose of mixing with raw phosphatic materials from North Africa to make fertiliser, obviously for German use.

According to the Jewish Encyclopædia (B, Vol. V., p. 384) the world control of Copper was (in 1903) in the hands of the Jew firms Lewisohn Bros. & Guggenheim Sons.

LEAD

Among the most important Lead-mines in the world are those of the Spanish Company Societe Miniere de Penarroya which produces one-eighth of the world’s total. Since 1883, the Paris Rothschilds controlled the Company and in 1909 they allied themselves with the Frankfort Metallgesellschaft (which meant Krupp and the Kaiser, as stated previously in this Chapter). This arrangement continued until 31st December, 1916, and must have been most profitable for Rothschild Freres during the first two years of the war, when they sent 150,000 tons to Germany, via Switzerland. (Z, p. 167).

OIL

The story of Rothschild Oil-interests can be largely told by means of extracts from well-authenticated sources.

“The house of Rothschild, and more especially its Paris Branch, had been strongly interested in the Caucasian petroleum industry ever since 1883. Here it controlled two important companies, the Caspian-Black Sea Company, and, since 1898, the Mazut Company . . . these Rothschild companies had had to fight hard against the overwhelming superiority of Standard Oil. Thus it was only natural that the capitalists who owned them should strive to strengthen and expand their influence in the oil industry by giving financial support to the Dutch Company.” (Z.1, p. 47).

The Jewish Encyclopædia (B, Vol. X., p. 496), says that the interest of the Rothschilds in the Baku Oil-wells made them the chief competitor of Standard Oil Company.

In a letter dated 14th March 1901, Sir Cecil Spring-Rice wrote of “Baku, an enormous town in a desert, breeding petroleum, once the home and temple of fire-worshippers—now mostly owned by the Rothschilds.” (D, Vol. I., p. 338).

Then appears Deterding on the scene, an official of the Royal Dutch Company, later to become Sir Henri Deterding; this man is described by W. Thompson in an article “World Oil-War or Entente,” published in Asia, May 1923, pp. 236-8, as “a Jew by race”; whilst the News of the World, 5th February, 1939, said he was “of Jewish descent.”

“It was Deterding who induced the House of Rothschild to give Royal Dutch its backing, which undoubtedly saved the Company from ruin.” (Z.1, p. 48).

The Jew Marcus Samuel “built an experimental oil-tanker with money borrowed from the Rothschilds of Paris.” (Z.2, p. 21).

The Royal Dutch Company allied itself with the Shell Transport of Marcus Samuel (afterwards Viscount Bearsted), in 1897, and later, in 1902 with a sales firm, the Asiatic Petroleum Company. “As before, Samuel got the House of Rothschild to finance the companies.” (Z.2, p. 23)

“Standard Oil’s first desperate onslaught upon Royal Dutch was discontinued only when the Americans realised that Rothschild’s millions were behind the Dutch company.” (Z.1, p. 53).

The Rothschilds were always hostile to the Tsars of Russia who were the only European monarchs to protect their people from the Jews by refusing to give them the status of Russians in Russia. They must, therefore, like Jacob Schiff of Kuhn Loeb & Co., have been interested in the success of Kerensky’s revolution; but it is impossible that the Rothschilds could have desired the success of the Bolshevik revolution which came next, because of the losses they would, and did, sustain in the Russian Oil-fields which were ultimately confiscated by the Soviet Government.

In the hope of recovering these oil-fields, the Rothschilds believing that the Bolsheviks would collapse, increased their holdings of Russian Oil-fields by further purchases made through Deterding, buying them at knock-down figures. We may be sure that they supported the counterrevolutionary attempts of Generals Wrangel, Deniken, and Admiral Kolchak, which all failed. It is interesting to note that the Brigadier-General of the British Military Mission to aid Denikin (1919-1920) and the Commanding Officer of the British Mission with Wrangel’s forces (1920) was Sir J. Percy whose real name is Baumgartner and married to a Jewess, and the British High Commissioner in South Russia (1919-20) was Sir H. J. Mackinder, ex-Director of the London School of Economics, and also married to a Jewess! Deterding himself married the daughter of a Russian “White” General.

The Royal Dutch Company which so strongly represents the Rothschilds also controls the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company, which has two peculiarities:—

1. It hardly ever is able to find Oil in British territories, although its concessions range all over the Empire’s Crown Colonies, besides South Africa, Egypt and Palestine.

2. There is little that is Anglo-Saxon in the composition of its Directorate. It is strongly Jewish, and is part owner of the Consolidated Petroleum Co. and the Anglo-Mexican Petroleum Co. which in turn controls the Shell-Mex Companies of Argentine, Chile and Uruguay.

The number of books written about “Oil-wars” is Legion; and it will be noted that in all the international crises caused by conflicting interests chiefly between American Standard Oil and the European Royal Dutch, the Rothschilds have held strong position in the latter Company. Under the Rothschild Paris regime, France found that she had neglected her Colonial oil-fields and suffered for it in the Great War 1914-18. Why was this allowed? R. Neumann blandly explains in his book Zaharoff: the Armaments King (1935), p. 210:—“It was known that it was in the interests of the foreign oil trust that France should not discover any oil-wells in her own soil or in any of her colonial territories, for then she would remain permanently under the control of the foreign oil producers.”

And there you have also the explanation of the curious non-discovery of Oil in British territories. It is, however, so necessary for the Jews to have Hitlerism destroyed, that we should not be surprised to hear of many wonderful new discoveries of Oil in British and French possessions, although such discoveries must not be expected until the highest prices have been wrung out of the taxpayers of both countries for the benefit of the oil-fields already working.

Among the major Oil-Wars we note the following theatres:—

1. Mexico. Here the game was the corruption of successive Presidents by the two belligerents (Standard Oil and Deterding), or, where that did not work, they resorted to the financing of revolutions against such Presidents of the forcing of “incidents” rendering “necessary” the landing of armed forces. One side was just as bad as the other, and thus they made of Mexico a shuttlecock, caring nothing for the welfare of the Mexican people and rendering good government there an impossibility.

2. Venezuela. The Oil-war in this country consisted chiefly in a duel of bribery of President Gomez from 1928 onward, the belligerents being Standard Oil and Deterding. This oil-war completely prevented good government in Venezuela, and made it possible for Gomez to reign as a most barbarous dictator to the intense suffering of the Venezuelan people.

3. Asia Minor. The Turko-Greek war (1920) in this country was really an oil-war, Greece being backed by “Britain” and Turkey by “France.” When Turkey won, we sent her an ultimatum to yield to us the Oil-field, but then the U.S.A. stepped in and obtained a concession for oil which made Turkey her ally! Britain’s reply to that situation was to begin to jib at paying her War-debts to the U.S.A. and that brought the U.S.A. to heel. The dispute was referred to the League of Nations, and Iraq gained the oil-field under a 25 years’ British Mandate.

The phenomenon of Afghanistan war is quite sad. US and its allies not only attack and invade Afghanistan and slaughter its people, but also use “Muslims” to fight other Muslims in Afghanistan.

There are (though only a few) US Muslim soldiers who ordered by their infidel leader to kill their Muslim brothers in Afghanistan. US government also ask Pakistan and Turkey which are Muslim countries to fight other Muslims in Afghanistan.

The Muslims (whether US Muslim soldiers, the governments and soldiers of Pakistan and Turkey) are clearly defying Allah’s order in the Al Qur’an.

“Lo! as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they wrong themselves, (the angels) will ask: In what were ye engaged? They will say : We were oppressed in the land. (The angels) will say: Was not Allah’s earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein? As for such, their habitation will be hell, an evil journey’s end” [An Nisaa’ 97]

At prophet era during Badar war, there were Muslims in Mecca that did not migrate to Madina with prophet though they were able. Finally they were forced by Mecca infidel government to war against prophet Muhammad in Badar war and get killed. Allah explain in the Al Quran that the Muslims who fight against prophet and other Muslims will be in HELL.

That is what will happen to Muslims who fight other Muslims whether in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other places.

The greatest boxer in the history, Muhammad Ali, bravely turn down the order from US government to fight Vietnamesse civillians during his military service when Vietnam War happen. Ali did not want to kill innocent civillians.

Because of his action, Muhammad Ali was imprisoned by US government. He also lost his title as the world boxing campion. Yet, Ali face it patiently  with courage.

If to non Muslims such as Vietnamesse people we should not kill, then to innocent Muslim people in Afghanistan we should not kill even more. We should not obey the Infidel US government’s order to kill Muslims in Afghanistan who are abused by US government and its allies.

Instead, they have to help Afghanistan Muslims to fight US and its Allies soldiers until they leave Afghanistan.

“…And wage war on all the idolaters as they are waging war on all of you. And know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).” [At Taubah 36]

Only with trick and “Divide and Conquer” strategy US and its allies could defeat Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. They use Muslim government in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey to help them to conquer other Muslims.

If Muslims united and could not be divided, then the infidel armies will not last long and soon be defeated.

Khalid bin Walid with 3,000 muslim soldiers could hold 200,000 Roman soldiers at Mu’tah war. Prophet Muhammad with his 30,000 troops could deter 200,000 Roman soldiers so they did not have a gut to show up at Tabuk War. Sultan Salahuddin Al Ayyubi from Ottoman empire could defeat the whole European crusaders at Crusade war.

The history show us that if Muslims united, though their number is very few could defeat the infidel army though their number is very large. It is sunnatullah. The law of Allah!

“And if those who disbelieve join battle with you they will take to flight, and afterward they will find no protecting friend nor helper. It is the law of Allah which hath taken course aforetime. Thou wilt not find for the will of Allah aught of power to change.” [Al Fath 22-23]

So we hope all Muslims in the world stop fighting against other Muslims. Instead we should help one another to defeat the infidel soldiers who kill innocent civillians and make puppet government that defy the law of Allah.

Jacko sat on the floor wearing a tiny hat after an Imam was summoned to officiate – days before the singer is due to appear at London’s High Court where he is being sued by an Arab sheik.

A source told last night how Jacko, brought up as a Jehovah’s Witness, decided to convert as he used a studio at the home of his chum to record a new album.

The star – whose hits include The Way You Make Me Feel – was spotted looking “a bit down” by a producer and a songwriter who had both embraced Islam.

The source said: “They began talking to him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea.

“An Imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.” Mikaeel is the name of one of Allah’s angels.

“Jacko rejected an alternative name, Mustafa – meaning “the chosen one”.

Brit singer Yousef Islam, 60 – who was called Cat Stevens until he famously converted – turned up to help Jacko celebrate.

It was his pals David Wharnsby – a Canadian songwriter – and producer Phillip Bubal who counselled Jacko.

The pair’s new names are Dawud Wharnsby Ali and Idris Phillips.

The singer, who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, converted to Islam in a ceremony at a friend’s house in Los Angeles.

He is said to have sat on the floor and worn a small hat while an imam officiated.

Last year his brother, Jermaine Friday, suggested Jackson would convert having taken an interest in Islam since Friday’s conversion in 1989.

“When I came back from Mecca I got him a lot of books and he asked me lots of things about my religion and I told him that it’s peaceful and beautiful,” said Friday.

“He read everything and he was proud of me that I found something that would give me inner strength and peace.

“I think it is most probable that Michael will convert to Islam.

“He could do so much, just like I am trying to do. Michael and I and the word of God, we could do so much.”

The singer, who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, converted to Islam in a ceremony at a friend’s house in Los Angeles.

He is said to have sat on the floor and worn a small hat while an imam officiated.

“Jacko rejected an alternative name, Mustafa – meaning “the chosen one”.

Brit singer Yousef Islam, 60 – who was called Cat Stevens until he famously converted – turned up to help Jacko celebrate.

It was his pals David Wharnsby – a Canadian songwriter – and producer Phillip Bubal who counselled Jacko.

The pair’s new names are Dawud Wharnsby Ali and Idris Phillips.

Jacko now prays to Mecca after the ceremony at the Hollywood Hills home of Toto keyboard player Steve Porcaro, 51, who composed music on the singer’s Thriller album.

Currently some countries ask for the new global currency to replace US Dollar. The exchange rate between US Dollar and Local currency in many countries are very unstable and causing many monetary crises. For example in Indonesia, in 1946 USD 1 = IDR 1.88. In 2009 the rate become USD 1 = IDR 12,000!

In 1970 the Pilgrimage (Hajj) cost in Indonesia only Rp 182,000. In 2009 it become naik jadi US$ 3.500 (Rp 36,750,000). The Rupiah value drops 201 times  (20,100%!) in less than 40 years!

In Zimbabwe in 2003, USD 1 = 697.42 Zimbabwe Dollar. But in 2008 the rate become USD 1 = 3.333.333.333.333 Zimbabwe Dollar! Inflation and prices change happen every hour ruining the economics! The funny thing is, Zimbabwe actually rich with natural resources such as antimony, asbestos, chromium, coal, cobalt, copper, gold, graphite, iron ore, magnesite, nickel, silver, and tin. Gold, chrome, and asbestos are the major mineral exports (Microsoft Encarta). With area of 390,000 km2 and population of 13 million people, Zimbabwe should be a prosper country. Yet, the “important” and uncertain of US Dollar value make all those natural resources worth almost nothing in dollar! The exchange rate is unclear. Set by speculators only.

The instability happen because all currency using Fiat Money which is not guaranteed by valuable thing such as Gold or Silver. All currencies made of paper which worth only around USD 0.25 cent. However the Forex Speculators which are the main player set the value USD 1 equal to IDR 12,000 or 3,333,333,333,333 Zimbabwe dollars. And those Forex Speculators could change the value every second in the Forex market. Instead of exchange tool and the measure of products or services, money become speculative object. Speculation in foreign exchange by dealers, brokers, or others becomes a major influence on exchange rates (Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia).

The currency such as Zimbabwe dollar or IDR could flunk as low as their value as paper.

Currently, many countries depend on US Dollar for the payment of products, services, or debt to foreign countries. Unfortunately, US dollar only produced by the US Government and designed for the US citizens. Not for all citizen of the World!

At first, US government produced Gold and Silver coins as their money (Commodity Money). No Gold or Silver means No Money. Then they use Credit Money where the paper money backed by gold reserves.

During Civil War, the US government needed a lot of money to fund the war more than the gold they had. So they issued Greenback money in February 1862 which was not backed by gold reserves. The value dropped immediately and caused sharp inflation. In 1866 an act was passed to withdraw the greenbacks (MS Encarta). However the Greenbacks were still used widely and made redeemable in gold in 1879. The Fiat Money causing sharp inflation in just 3 years and 17 years later the US Government use Credit Money back.

In 1970 foreign government holdings of U.S. dollars were over five times greater than the U.S. gold stock. In August 1971 President Richard M. Nixon suspended gold payments of U.S. dollars. Then devalued the dollar to 1/38 and in 1973 to 1/42.22 of an ounce of gold.

In 1978, in conjunction with reforms made by the International Monetary Fund, Congress formally removed the U.S. from the gold standard on an international basis. At the end of the decade no major currency was redeemable in gold. Since then, the value of money is set by forex speculators and causing many monetary crisis (MS Encarta).

So the world had been using Gold and Silver as money direct or indirectly for about 4,500 years, from 2500 BC in Mesopotamia until 20th century in US and European countries.

The stability of Gold Value describe in a Book of Saheeh Bukharee where a friend of prophet Muhammad bought a sheep for 1 gold dinar (1 dinar = 4.25 gram of 22 carat gold) and sell it for 2 dinars 1,400 years ago. Now we still could get 1 or 2 sheep for about 1 dinar. That is the real proof.

Beside gold, silver also has a stable value. In the Quran, Al Kahfi:19, told that 5 people who live in a cave bought some food for about 3 Dirham (1 Dirham = 2,975 gram of Silver). Now the price of food for 5 people about that price.

Many people question if Gold or Silver supply is enough if Gold and Silver are used as money. Well, the stability of Gold and Silver against other commodity such as sheep or food has proven that the supply is good. Not over supply which will cause the devaluation of gold. And not under supply which will cause the inflation of Gold. People have used Gold and Silver as money for about 4,000 years, so there should be no doubt about it.

Gold production still continues since Egypt civilization around 7,000 years ago until now. The discovery of America make the world gold output totaled about 4,665,000 kg from the end of the 15th century to about 1850.

South Africa producing 376 metric tons of gold in 2003 while US producing 277 metric tons of gold. Some 70 other countries produce gold in commercial quantities, but two thirds of the total worldwide production now comes from South Africa, the United States, Australia, China, Canada, and Russia. New gold deposits found in Australia, Alaska, Canada in 19th and 20th century. So the supply is enough.

Though some “Gold Money” Dinar sold in www.wakalanusantara.com, but people still could found gold jewelry in many gold stores in Indonesia and use them as wedding ring and wedding gift.

If people use Gold, Silver, and Copper as money, then we don’t have to worry about their number will be rare/scarce. There is Gold with high value, and there is also Copper which has low value as small change.

Gold, Silver, and Copper as money? Isn’t that too much? Well, currently people use local currency, US Dollar, Euro, Yen, British Pound, France Franc, Deutsche Mark, etc. That is way too much…

The advantage of Gold, Silver, and Copper as Global Money:

1. Stable value

2. Universal value

3. Found in many countries

4. Have real value

5. Stable prosperity

6. Monetary Crises proof

The disadvantage of paper money US Dollar as Global Money:

1. Unstable value

2. Local value. Even US dollar could not be used directly in many markets in Asia. There is no way we could buy thing in Indonesia using Zimbabwe paper money. But we could do that using Zimbabwe gold especially if the rate is good.

3. US dollar as the International money only produced and monopoly by US Government

4. No real value. The value set by forex speculators. Local currencies such as Zimbabwe dollar will become a toy

5. Inflation leads to global poverty

6. Monetary Crises every 5-10 years. In Zimbabwe, inflation happen every time.

So, let’s use Gold, Silver, and Copper as money for a better, stable, and universal currency. Let’s stop the monetary crisis which is caused by unclear paper money right now.

Zimbabwe dollar dead, says top economist

The Zimbabwe dollar is dead, one of the world’s leading experts on hyperinflation said today.

The comments came as the Morgan Tsvangirai appointed Tendai Biti, one of his party’s highest ranking officials, to be the country’s new finance minister in a government of national unity.

Professor Steve Hanke, a senior fellow of the Cato Institute in Washington, has been involved with the governments and currency reforms of a dozen different countries around the world, and in 2007 developed a hyperinflation index for Zimbabwe.

It used stock market and other non-cash transactions to derive an inflation figure that bypassed the desperate shortages of goods in shops and actual banknotes, and peaked at an annual 89.7 sextillion per cent in November last year – after which it became impossible to calculate.

At the time the daily inflation rate stood at 98 per cent, with prices doubling every 24.7 hours.

As the Zimbabwe stock exchange had stopped trading and the non-cash banking system seized up, he said, reliable data disappeared. “The non-cash Zimbabwe dollar is, therefore, dead,” he said.

“Ashes are all that is left of the Zimbabwe dollar – a remnant of paper money,” he said in a commentary on the Cato Institute website.

Zimbabwe failed to break Hungary’s world record for hyperinflation, which it set at 195 per cent a day in 1946, but easily beat Yugoslavia’s 1994 mark of 313 million per cent a month to secure second place in the record books.

In late December 2008 and early January 2009 the use of foreign currency as a common medium of exchange has become increasingly popular as fewer goods and services are being offered in local currency. In a move to help businesses suffering from chronic shortages of foreign currency to import goods and spare parts the Zimbabwe’s central bank licensed around 1,000 shops to sell goods in foreign currency.[34][35]

On 12 January 2009, Zimbabwe introduced the $50,000,000,000 note. [36]

On January 16, 2009, Zimbabwe announced plans for imminent issue of banknotes of $10 trillion, $20 trillion, $50 trillion, and $100 trillion. At the time of the announcement, the latter was valued at ca. 30 US dollars, but that value is expected to evaporate swiftly. [37] Notably, these plans open a gap in the banknote series: there are none on the order of $100 billion or $1 trillion. It would take 200 of the $50 billion notes to make the same value as the next larger note, $10 trillion.

It is the final humiliation for Zimbabwe’s battered currency, which was worth more than the US greenback at independence in 1980.

Even after two revaluations that have knocked a total of 13 zeros off it, it was trading on the black market on Wednesday at around 6,000 to the USD – or 60,000,000,000,000,000 to one in terms of the original Zimbabwe dollar.

Gideon Gono, the reserve bank governor and a key player in the ruling Zanu-PF party, said that 250 wholesalers and 1,000 retailers would be licensed to accept foreign currency as an 18-month “experiment”.

Prophet Muhammad: The Best Man in the World

“Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the last Day, and remembereth Allah much.” [Quran 33:21]

That is the words of God describing the nobleness of Prophet Muhammad. Even a non-believer such as Sir George Bernard Shaw in his book ‘The Genuine Islam,’ Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936 wrote that if there is a new religion that will prevail in England or Europe in the next century that would be Islam. Muhammad is a wonderful man and should be called the Savior of Humanity, said Bernard Shaw.

Mahatma Gandhi, in his statement that published in “Young India” in 1024 said that it is not the sword that spread Islam. But the passion, courage, and faith of the prophet Muhammad to God that spread Islam. When I have read the second chapter of the story of Prophet Muhammad, I was regret that there is no more to read.

Muhammad was impossible to spread Islam by the sword since his early followers were only his wife and nephew, Ali. Later, many people convert to Islam because of his great personality and the Islamic truth.

If there were some wars, those were defensive wars. The first 3 wars, such as Badar, Uhud, and Khandaq wars, happened near Madinah city, the Muslim city, when the Mecca infidels and their allies attacked Madinah.

So was the Mu’tah war happened in Arab land when the Christian Roman Empire attacked to destroy Islam.

Michael H Hart in his book ‘The 100, A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons In History,’ New York, 1978 chose prophet Muhammad as the number 1 among 100 most influential people in the world defeating Isaac Newton, Paul, and Jesus.

According to Michael H Hart, most great leaders in his book became great because they happened to be born in developed countries and center of the world civilization such as France, Germany, Britain, etc. Even without those leaders, those countries will be great anyway and many men could replace their places as leaders.

For example, Napoleon Bonaparte that lead France to conquer Europe. That happened because France is a big European country. Napoleon could not do that if France is a small country. Even Napoleon at last failed and died in exile.

Jesus though the first who spread Christian religion, but he was caught and crossed by the Roman soldiers. His followers when Jesus died were a few. It is Paul who developed the Christian religion so it is accepted by European.

On the contrary, Prophet Muhammad was born in a backward country. Mecca, the city where Muhammad was born, is a small city far away from the centre of civilization, trade, art, and science. At that time the great countries are Roman, Persian, and China.

Arab is nothing but a Roman and Persian colony with a very small population until now. Arab people were divided into small tribes that fight each other.

When Muhammad was born, most Arab worshipped idols. For the first 3 years Muhammad call his family and close friends to Islam. Then in 613 Muhammad propagated Islam openly so Islam spreading wide.

The Mecca Infidel leaders began to think Muhammad as a threat to their belief so they tried to kill him. To avoid the danger, Muhammad went to Madinah. But the Mecca infidels did not stop. They try to attack Muhammad in Madinah 3 times in Badar, Uhud, and Khandaq wars. But they failed.

After that, Muhammad and his followers conquered Mecca peacefully in 630. There is no home to be destroyed and no bloodshed except for a few war criminals. In 23 years Muhammad united all Arab and also other tribes in Islam.

With Muhammad leadership, Arab not only could hold the Roman and Persian attack but also conquered them all. Until now the Roman capital, Constantinople becomes Istambul under Islamic country. So is Baghdad that used to be the capital of Persian Empire.

We should remember that the prophet Muhammad’s wars are not bloody wars like the crusaders that slaughtered all Muslims they conquered like in the film ”Kingdom of Heaven” (Starred by Orlando Bloom). The wars by Muhammad such as in Badar, Uhud, and Khandaq Wars are defensive wars. They defend themselves from the Infidels’ attacks. The war with Roman and Persian were setting the people free from Roman and Persian’s occupation which burden the people with heavy taxes.

At the Conquer of Mecca, it is a peaceful surrender. Almost no bloodshed.

In 100 years since the death of Prophet Muhammad, Islamic Kingdom spread from India, Pakistan, Iran, Middle East, North Africa, to Spain with 7,600 kilometeres long and 3,200 kilometres wide in 3 continents! It is the largest empire that ever exists in the history.

Even though the Spain reconquered by the Catholic after 7 centuries, yet Islam still prevail in North Africa, Middle East, Iran, and Pakistan.

Islam not only advance in politics and military. In science the Arabs who used to be backward below the Greece and Persian scientists, suddenly became leaders. Many scientific findings by Arab/Islamic scientists acknowledge by the world until now.

For example, the world numeric system now called Arabic Numeral replacing the Roman Numeral which is not flexible. With Arabic Numerals, you could write 93,567,834,234,693 easily. That kind of number is impossible written with Roman Numeric.

The Islamic world, which in medieval times extended as far west as Spain, also produced many scientific breakthroughs. The Arab mathematician Muhammad al-Khwārizmī introduced Hindu-Arabic numerals to Europe many centuries after they had been devised in southern Asia.

Arab Astronomers (read: Islam Astronomers) find many stars such as Aldebaran, Altair, and Deneb. Al Haytham (Alhacen) that introduced Optic science also found Scientific Method which emphasized Observation, Experiment, and accurate records.

Thus, Muhammad is not just a religious leader or prophet. But he also a military leader, the head of Islamic State (which is superior to Roman and Persian Empire), and also the founder of Islamic Science Golden Age.

In 23 years only, Muhammad managed to turn the backward savage Arabs into civilized people and the leaders in science defeating 2 world super powers: Roman and Persian. This is an example that should be followed by any leaders!

No wonder a non Muslim like Michael H Hart acknowledged that Muhammad is the number one people in the world beyond Jesus and any other men that ever exist.

If a non Muslim thought Muhammad is the number one, then a Muslim that testifies Muhammad as the messenger of God should also know that Muhammad is a perfect man that free from sin or error. That is why Muslims should learn the story of Muhammad and follow his examples.

US and Israel government sign an agreement to stop “arm smuggling” to Gaza so Gaza will not be used as rocket launch pad to Israel. They ask other countries such as Egypt to do the same.

It means Gaza people will be defenseless while Israel have nuclear bombs, jet fighters, tanks, and warships. When Israel attack again in the future, the total massacre will be a lot easier with no country to help Gaza people just like Israel do in Shabra and Shatilla with Lebanese militia, Nablus, Hebron, etc.

Before Israel attack Gaza and kill more than 1,100 people there (mostly women and children), the US government sent weapons to Israel. Then Israel attack Gaza.

After 21 days fighting, Israel did not dare to enter Gaza because Gaza population is 1.5 million people and the people in Gaza still have rockets and guns. Israel afraid there will be resistance and their soldiers will be killed one by one like US soldiers in Iraq.

That is why Israel made “peace” and withdraw from Gaza. But Israel with the help of US government try to disarm Gaza first before they make another attack.

Why Hamas or should I say Gaza people (because Hamas is the election winner there) firing their rockets to Israel? There are many answers for that question.

First Israel with the help of Egypt and other Arab countries is blockading Gaza so Gaza people have not enough food, medicine, water, and electricity to survive. Gaza people have to live just like underground rats by passing small hidden underground tunnels to get food or medicine because if Israel know Israel will drop bombs from jet planes. Some of Gaza people even eat grass to survive. Is it not enough reason to launch rocket to Israel?

Israel also keep robbing Palestinians land with bulldozers for settlements. At least one American Woman died for “stopping” Israel bulldozers. The Palestine map keep shrinking from 1948, 1967, and now. Is peace (silent) a solution for land robbery by Israel?

Hamas is the election winner in Palestine. Most Palestine people choose Hamas as their leader. According to “Democratic” system they should be the ruler government. Yet the Israel and US government calling Hamas terrorist and try to topple Hamas from Palestine Government. Is it decent?

The attack against Hamas is equal to attack against Palestine People.

Israel have slaughtered many civilians (more than 1,100). Mostly women and children. Israel not only bombs government offices, but also thousands of homes, mosques, and also UN schools. It is a war crime!

Yet Israel seems will not get any sanction at all like Nazi War Criminals. Israel officers, such as Tzipi Livni, freely meet US and European officers and get a warm welcome while she is nothing but a cruel murderer who take part in killing many children and babies in Gaza.

So the next massacre on defenseless Gaza people will continue after Gaza People is totally armless. They will have to face clustered chemical bombs from Israel jet fighters. They will become human experiment for Israel uranium depleted bombs or even nuclear bombs.

Some Arab leaders such as Hosni Mobarak (Egypt President) and also Abdullah (Saudi Arabia King) are helping Israel and US in killing many Muslims. Mobarak closes Gaza borders so Gaza people do not get food and medicine and cannot escape from massacre.

While Abdullah gives Arab lands for US military bases so US soldiers could kill many Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, and also supporting Israel from there. Saudi Arabia also supplying oils for US and Israel so the US-Israel jet fighters, tanks, and rockets could run.

From 21 Arab Countries, there are 9 countries (Including Egypt and Saudi Arabia) that refuse to attend Arab League meeting in Doha, Qatar to help Gaza people. Egypt and Saudi Arabia’s leaders should be ashamed because even Iran which is no Arabic attend the meeting as an observer.

Many Arab Leaders cooperate together with US and Israel government (Egypt even as an Israel Embassy), so the attack against Muslim such as in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine will continue. The war is not over yet.

Israel, US stand against Gaza arms smuggling

As the fighting in the Gaza Strip continues, the United States and Israel have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that aims to stop Hamas smuggling arms into the territory.

The agreement, signed in Washington, is intended to stop weapons being smuggled into Gaza through its border with Egypt.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says any ceasefire in Gaza must include a permanent end to rocket attacks on Israel.

She says other countries are expected to sign a similar agreement with Israel.

“The United States is reaching out to its partners as well, and together, the steps that we and other members of the international community can take will contribute to a durable ceasefire.”

Israel’s Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni says an end to weapons smuggling into Gaza is essential before any ceasefire can be agreed to.

Dr Rice, who blamed Hamas rocket attacks for sparking a 21-day military offensive by Israel, said the memorandum of understanding aims to ensure that “Gaza can never again be used as a launchpad” for such attacks.

Ms Livni thanked her US counterpart for completing this “historic MOU in record time.”

“There must be an end of smuggling of weapons to Gaza,” Ms Livni said.

“The MOU we sign today is … a vital component for the cessation of hostilities.”

However, it was not immediately clear when a ceasefire could be achieved.

At least 1,145 Palestinians have been killed and another 5,160 wounded in the Israeli onslaught, according to Gaza medics.

Some 600 civilians have been slain, including 355 children, they said.

Israel launched its Operation Cast Lead on December 27 to stop Hamas militants, who control the Gaza Strip, from firing rockets on southern Israeli towns.

Ms Livni said Israel had shown restraint for years under Hamas rocket attacks, but Hamas had held “Gaza hostage” and finally to pay “a high price for terror.”

Ms Livni’s trip follows intensive discussions in recent days between senior US and Israeli officials, including a phone conversation between Dr Rice and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday.
